Alkoç Group and Naci Alkoç Foundation Donate Living Container to ITU Maritime Faculty Teknofest Team
Alkoç Group and Naci Alkoç Maritime Foundation, known for their leadership in social responsibility and aid efforts in the maritime sector, have donated a living container to the ITU Maritime Faculty Teknofest team to provide a healthier working environment. This comes after their donation of a "Tiny House" to the Tuzla campus for the music club’s use. Previously, the Alkoç Group and the Foundation provided a motor yacht to the sailing club for a limited time, and the officials have stated that they will continue to work closely with universities to support the development of maritime activities.
Alkoç Group Expands Its Scope of Operations
Alkoç Maritime, part of the Alkoç Group with nearly 30 years of industry experience, has not only been involved in local and national projects but also announced initiatives to participate in various offshore, oil, and gas projects abroad.
In addition to the two support vessels in its fleet, the company is currently seeking a DP2 vessel and has announced that it will take a more active role in renewable energy and oil exploration projects.
The company, which already provides services such as container and dry bulk ship management, ship ownership, satellite communications, ship agency, technical consultancy, and shipbuilding supervision, has turned its focus abroad for specific projects.
