With a career defined by CEO leadership and maritime industry transformation, Gurhan has built a reputation for building and scaling businesses from inception, leading multiple start-up ventures, and executing complex corporate restructuring and exit initiatives across international maritime and industrial sectors, with strong focus on aligning strategic vision with operational execution, financial discipline and stakeholder value creation.

At Alkoc Group, Gurhan serves as CEO and Board Member leading the family-owned enterprise with companies including Alkships, Alkmar, Alklogistics, Alkfixture, Alksat, Alkyacht, Alklink, across ship management, ship finance, SNP, chartering, logistics, transformation, innovation, LNG-FSRU, wind farm, energy advisory services, shipyard management, design, marine infrastructure, ship repair, survey.

Gürhan also serves as CEO of Maritime Workforce Development at Peak Marine Services, Executive Advisor at PNG, Founder of the Nadev Foundation (Social Solidarity and Maritime Education Foundation), and Board Member. Gürhan's career spans ship management, fleet operations, technical management, nb projects, and corporate leadership. Starting at sea and progressing from Assistant Engineer to Chief Engineer, he later assumed senior leadership roles across technical operations, fleet management, and strategic business development.
