Alkoç Turns Its Focus to Oil and Gas
Alkoç Shipping has taken steps to participate in offshore and oil/gas projects abroad.
Continuing its operations under the Alkoç Group and actively participating in local/national projects in Turkey, Alkoç Shipping has now set its sights on engaging in various offshore oil and gas projects internationally.
Alkoç Group Chairman, Chief Engineer Gürhan Burak Alkoç, mentioned that in addition to the two support vessels in their fleet, they are looking for a DP2-equipped vessel. He stated that they aim to take a more active role in renewable energy and oil exploration projects.
Alkoç also added that they continue to provide services such as container and dry cargo shipping, ship ownership, communications, ship agency, technical consultancy, and shipbuilding supervision, across various tonnages.
